Calling all willing BFF's
Hello,
I just read Ben's post and I agree with him. This site and the idea behind it is such a great one. Sadly, a lot of us have had no contact with are official BFF's. I am one of those folks. I try to check the site just about everyday to see if my BFF has logged in. At this time it's been about two months with nothing. I'm open to making friends with any active-duty military or like minded civilians or spouses. As the Aunt of a Marine wounded in combat I appreciate the sacrifices made by our active-duty service members and just want to show my gratitude. So, feel free to send me a message if you'd like... If by chance 1390 sees this I'm your BFF!

I can understand since most
I can understand since most of us had to wait 4-6 weeks for our bracelets if our bff got theirs before we did they probably got tired of waiting and gave up. I am number 11359 so I doubt I will get matched anytime but if anyone wants a bff I am here!!

Hey everybody! I just signed on 6/6 with bff # 7762, as of yet no bff match but thats ok. I really liked the idea of contributing to a great cause and helping the military personel in any small way I could. I actually bought 3 and the other two 7763 and 7764 are pending until I decide who to give them to! I would love to chat with my bff sometime but life in the military is busy and so is mine so I understand. This is an awesome idea and I hope it raises lots of money for the familys of military! My grandson is the son of a Marine, his dad has served in Iraq and is sced to go to Afganistan at the end of the summer so we know how important family fun time is! :)

Just wondering, how do you know if you have connected with your BFF? Would they have the same ID number as me?

Yes, they would have the same ID number too, I just logged in one day and saw that I had been matched with my BFF. It did take a while to be connected though, I had been registered for about 4 to 6 weeks before I was matched and ever since I've been matched I have never heard from my BFF. Ever. Even after getting their email to see if I could talk to them that way. I hope that you have better luck than me when you finally get matched.

Hi, I can't really answer your question regarding "how do you know if you have been connected with your BFF?" I have had no contact with my BFF... ever. My BFF was registered on the site a whole 6 weeks before I got my bracelet. My guess is they were either deployed long before we were connected or they just got fed up in trying. The idea of a bracelet exchange is great in theory. I think the concept has not worked out so well in practice. I'm going to hope you have a positive experience and end up connected to your BFF.

I was excited about my BFF!! He/she logged on & matched up with me but that's been it....disappointed here but hoping my BFF is busy protecting my freedom & that's the reason! =) Anyone out here interested, I'll be your BFF as well....this is a wonderful idea!
PS...does anyone else have trouble with the pictures on the profile pages not showing? My work & home pc neither one have pictures but a big red X in the corner.... =(

I'm all for making new friends. I have an official BFF but I haven't heard from them, I'm not sure I ever will either. I appreciate the idea behind this and was very excited about signing up but I have been disappointed with how things have turned out so yeah, if any one would like to chat I'm open to that, just send me a message.

I have had my bracelet for a while now and i have not gotten matched with a bff. i have worn my bracelet every day though and i have logged on everday so if there are any acting military personal who want a bff that cant find theres either i will very much like to be there bff. =]

im 2596 but the BFF who got
im 2596 but the BFF who got the bracelets has not logged on in about 2 months.....this site is a great idea, as a soldier just having someone to talk to is great especially when deployed, it would be nice if people kept up with their BFF's a little more.
