The BFF Community Update
Hello Everyone,
I am the new administrator of the BFF Community. We recently started updating and developing the site to make it more user-friendly, easy to navigate, and fun to use. We are still currently in the process of doing this. Our team is working very hard to make the BFF initiative everything that it needs to be. We apologize for any difficulties our users may have had and hope to fix all of those issues. One of our major new additions to the site is that you can see who your BFF is on your profile. You are also able to search for your BFF using our new search function, as well as search for friends and new members.
We will be sending out a newsletter soon featuring these new updates as well as our upcoming AFF concert series in Fairfax, VA and Little Rock, AR presenting the Rowdy Friends tour, featuring Hank Williams, Jr., Jamey Johnson, Colt Ford, Josh Thompson and The Grascals.

I have had my bracelet for quite a few months now, any idea when a matching bracelet may be sent to someone?

So I see from day one people
So I see from day one people were having issues and people from 2010 are still not matched up. What about us people that got ours here recently in 2011? Are we going to be matched up or is there still a waiting list and we just have to wait and see?

I purchased my bracelet the very day it was announced. I received my bracelet within 10 days. I stopped wearing it because it was in such bad condition. Sorta like this organization. I never heard anything about my BFF and I doubt I will. I am LESS than impressed with this group.
I took 4 weeks to get mine in
I took 4 weeks to get mine in the mail. I am not matched up and now FAQs says I may never be matched up due to lack of military involved...I just hope my money went where it said it would.
I am sorry that your bracelet
I am sorry that your bracelet is it bad condition. I've had mine for about 5 months and its fine. However, we will definitely send you a new one.
As far as you not having a BFF, you are in the que. We had early problems that are now fixed. I can see why you are not impressed thought but we are trying hard to fix this. We have a small, overworked staff and sometimes it takes a while to get A LOT of things done.

We will match you this coming week. We had problems with out matching system for the early members. However, now it is fixed and we are going back and having to match the early members who were unmatched.
Also, as far as the comments of people not hearing from their BFFs, we are sending our emails to those people for them to check for their matches, since we fixed the system.

I agree with Erin, is there any way to add email updates (a la Facebook) so that we know there has been some activity? I checked here daily for weeks on end for my BFF to be matched up, then got discouraged & didn't check for a few weeks - of course by then my BFF had registered. Hope to hear from them soon!

I was wondering, would it also be possible to send out email notifications as well? That way people who didn't realize that they've been matched with a BFF get an email saying so or that they have a private message waiting for them, ect.

hey i recently got my bff but i am kind of mad because i messaged him and he never replied... all i ever got was his url name, not even his real name... i think it would be kind of cool if there was more information you can put when signing up cause now i feel like i can never know who my bff is if he never goes on again

Please help me if you can. I registered on 7/12 and have not heard from my BFF. Do you know who it is supposed to be? If so, can you check and see if everything is OK and they have just not registered yet? Do I need to be reassigned to a new military BFF?

I have sent countless emails to BFF and most recently the AFF. I have yet to be matched with anyone. I was told when I first purchased my bracelet that I would be able to be matched with my cousin in Kuwait. I informed them that he would be back to the U.S. 8 weeks from the date I purchased the bracelet and was assured that he would in fact receive his bracelet. This has yet to happen. I looked up his name on the member profile and they have him as being matched with someone who is obviously not me! I spoke with him and he has yet to receive the bracelet. Confused.
